Group Pilates Classes

Group Pilates classes utilize the Universal Reformers and Pilates Springboards. For the benefit of our clients, class sizes are limited to 5 students and reservations are required. All classes are 55 minutes long and you can conveniently book your reservation online. Please note that no shows will be charged if session is not cancelled within 24-hours.

Prior Pilates experience is necessary for some classes as noted:

  • Intermediate Intermediate For clients who have completed a minimum of 4 to 8 individual or duo sessions and/or have received the instructor’s permission to attend.
  • Advanced Advanced For clients who have studied Pilates for 2 to 4 years and/or have received the instructor’s permission to attend.

Total Reformer Apparatus Classes

This low impact workout consists of foundational Pilates movements and principles, such as “core” control and breathing technique. Each exercise emphasizes proper body alignment with smooth, continuous movements for all muscle groups. Traditional exercises and variations are performed on the Pilates Reformers and SpringboardsSpringboard exercises replicate a work-out practiced on the Trapeze Table or “Cadillac”. The class is led by an instructor and students move in unison. The pace is quick and students are responsible for changing springs and making machine adjustments during the workout.

Pre-Natal Pilates Class

Share the joys of impending motherhood with other mamas-to-be! Safe and effective, pre-natal Pilates help you to improve posture, reduce pregnancy aches and pains, and stay connected to your changing body. Doctor and instructor approvals are required before attending this class.

Level: All levels are welcome.

Barre Fierce

Exclusive to the studio and conceived by dancer/choreographer Tracy Ramsay, Barre Fierce is a fusion of Ballet Barre Conditioning with Dynamic Pilates. Choreographed to body-shaking and quaking music, BF will take you through isometric movements, working deep into the hard-to-reach muscles through intense repetitions. This high-energy, yet low-impact workout will create a lean, toned body and promises to challenge you to the core! (Intro session $25)

Level: All levels are welcome.

Men’s Apparatus Class

Similar to the group apparatus class but tailored specifically to men, this program is designed to prevent common injuries and to help recover from them more quickly. Exercises compliment cardiovascular and strength training endeavors by focusing on flexibility and core strength.

Restorative Group Apparatus Class

Restorative Pilates is a slower-paced, gentler (though by no means “easy”) practice performed on both the mat and the reformer. It is specifically designed for clients recovering from injuries, seniors, or those who need to ease into an exercise routine. This no-stress workout places emphasis on posture, breathing, stabilizing, and stretching so that you leave feeling invigorated, released, and balanced.
